Susanna White

​

Susanna comes from an artistic family with her mother a painter and her grandmother JET a talented designer, which helps to explain her imaginative and creative personality. She has devoted her energies increasingly over the last 15 years to interior and garden design and recently to development of the JET collection of wallpapers and fabrics discovered by her in 2014.

​

Her interior design work has ranged from sensitive guidance on historic buildings to the complete development and renovation of town and country houses for a variety of commercial and domestic clients. Her love of all aspects of decoration including colour, fabrics and wallpapers, lighting, metalwork, plasterwork and architectural carving in wood and stone shows through in all her projects, which can work as effectively in modern riverside apartments as in older town houses, country houses and stately homes. Sourcing and commissioning furniture and works of art are also among her strengths.

John has developed and run his own construction and property business, created from scratch, since graduating from Oxford. His love of good architecture and design, together with his knowledge of business and company organisation, ensure that Whiteworks has the necessary practical support to turn Susanna’s designs and creative ideas into reality. After many years in London, they now live in the beautiful environment they have created for themselves in Gloucestershire – the home of Whiteworks.
