Holland Park Orangery was the venue for the first public airing of the Jet Collection of Wallpapers and Fabrics. A fine evening and the great architecture of the space enabled us to display generous panels of the first wallpaper designs and colourways.
The wallpaper collection includes 7 original designs in 37 colourways. The wallpapers are available to purchase, which directs enquiries to our experienced and talented partner in this venture Hamilton Weston Wallpapers. New wallpaers are expected to be added ahead of the main introduction of the collection at Decorex in September 2017.
As well as a first a public airing of the wallpaper designs, we were able to show some of our collaborations with artists and makers including the creative talents of Painter -Peter Lloyd Jones, Silversmith – Hal Messel and Potter – Mercury Hare. Beautiful flowers were provided by the Land Gardeners.
We loved seeing so many of you from the design world, who attended the event and were delighted by the positive reaction to this new collection, which has been developed from some undiscovered designs produced by Susanna White’s talented and eccentric grandmother in the 1930s and 1940s.
