THE JET COLLECTION of Fabrics and Wallpapers, has been developed by Susanna White (@sjwhiteworks), from timeless designs created in the 1930s and 1940s by her eccentric and talented grandmother, Joan Evelyn Thomson, always known as JET.
We welcome enquiries to discuss bespoke colours and scales.
JET’s designs were rooted in the extraordinary creativity of the mid 20th century which still influence so much of our contemporary design. JET’s life story is extraordinary in its own right, starting with art school in Paris and Vienna and work with the iconic Ascher. Marriages, motherhood and then her involvement during the Beatles era with the Maharishi and Transcendental Meditation caused the timeless beauty of her designs to be set aside until discovered by Susanna (@sjwhiteworks) in 2015.
